This role manages the implementation and delivery of both Learning and OD and change management activities within the company’s Commercial and Marketing organizations, including the design, deployment, and adoption of programs and transformation initiatives. The purpose of this role is to contribute to building an agile and continuous learning culture that accelerates the growth and development of both leadership and functional capabilities in order to drive consumer centricity and brand desirability in the delivery of MHUSA’s 2030 Strategy objectives. This Manager provides change management leadership and collaborative, strategic partnership to leaders and teams, in conjunction with functional enablement partners, to ensure plans, processes, and programs are embedded in all business and talent strategies, to drive peak performance. Reporting to the Senior Director, Learning and OD, this role will work closely with Commercial and Marketing Leadership, Centers of Excellence, and the People Team to institutionalize a learning agenda and change framework that educates these teams on our new ways of working and organizational model.

Learning and Organizational Development Management

  • Maintain collaborative partnerships with leaders and teams throughout the Commercial and Marketing organizations, as well as functional enablement partners, to co-develop and effectively manage a Learning and OD agenda that drives delivery of the 2030 Strategy and supports organizational transformation ambitions.
  • Conduct proactive and ongoing needs assessments with Leadership and teams to identify training gaps, recommend learning solutions, and leverage findings to inform future strategies and programs.
  • Manage the process of defining and institutionalizing functional capability models for the Commercial and Marketing functions; build and lead an internal project team, establish a roadmap to address skill gaps, and embed capabilities into key business and talent strategies.

Profile

  • Accelerate MHUSA’s ambitions to build a people first culture grounded in the leadership growth capabilities model, elevating behavioral understanding, accountability, and integration into new ways of working across the Commercial and Marketing teams.
  • Support Commercial and Marketing leadership in leading, managing and coaching team members through 360 assessments and the deployment of MHUSA’s new people leader enablement curriculum to accelerate the ‘coaching and development’ critical enabler of the 2030 Strategy and reinforce the company’s new operating model.
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge and understanding of current Learning and OD best practices; apply this learning to upskill subject matter experts throughout the business who have ownership of delivering training to Commercial and Marketing teams.
  • Partner with Hiring leaders, Learning and OD, and People Team Business Partners to continually evolve MHUSA’s onboarding programs to accelerate new hire productivity and belonging and adoption of the company’s new ways of working across Commercial and Marketing.

Change & Project Management

  • Collaborate with Sr. Director Learning and OD and Commercial and Marketing leaders to execute MHUSA’s new route to consumer and selective distribution account vision, ensuring a unified and consistent change management approach that clearly articulates the future of success for those teams in the delivery of the 2030 Strategy.
  • Lead project management responsibilities for all change and transformation activities to help to further position MHUSA as the leader in luxury wines and spirits; manage internal change management project team and change agents.
  • Implement and institutionalize processes to be adopted by the organization to facilitate adoption, engagement, and consensus building and will become the model for future organizational changes.
  • Ensure the needs and priorities of key stakeholders, and KPIs for change, are understood and communicated across the organization.
  • Equip leaders with change management frameworks and educational resources to drive their employees’ understanding of and commitment to their role in achieving the business goals.
  • Create and deploy strategies and tools to measure adoption, effectiveness and impact of all Learning and OD and change management activities; maintain ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders to communicate results and proactively address resistance to change.

Program Development, Facilitation, and Management

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, design, develop and facilitate in-person, remote, and digital on-demand training programs that address leadership, functional and technical capabilities and new ways of working; institutionalize learning paths for current and new employees in the Commercial and Marketing organizations.
  • Work closely with functional subject matter experts to deploy training on new processes, systems, and practices to equip talent with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver MHUSA’s transformation strategy.
  • Craft engaging in-house and consultant partner-led programs that accommodate diverse learning styles, for live and hybrid delivery.
  • Drive engagement in training and development opportunities, including those designed to build functional and technical knowledge as well as key LVMH and MHUSA initiatives, such as DiSC®, Rise Performance Management, IDE programs, etc.

Additional information

  • Act as the Learning and OD Team’s primary liaison with Moët Hennessy’s Academy of Commerce, aligning with MHUSA’s Brand Education team and regional stakeholders to lead the deployment and integration of global education initiatives and practices.
  • Leverage available learning resources and curriculums to support employees in building development plans that align with business needs and career ambitions, including LVMH House Americas CALCAT, MH.Academy Portfolio Learning, DISCUS Academy, LinkedIn Learning, and internal and external programs and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sr. Director Learning and OD on communication and marketing strategies and tracking and reporting on all activities in alignment with MHUSA corporate communication guidelines practices and internal calendars.
  • Partner with Sr. Director Learning and OD to plan and manage annual learning budget.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in Organizational Psychology or Learning & Organizational Development a plus
  • Project Management certification a plus
  • DiSC® Certification a plus

Professional Experience

  • 7 years of learning and development experience in a Commercial-driven organization, preferably in the luxury consumer goods or wines and spirits industries
  • Instructional design and facilitation experience required
  • Project management experience required
  • Experience managing change management and culture transformation initiatives
  • Commercial and/or marketing experience a plus
  • Corporate communications experience a plus
  • Experience with talent management and leadership development programs and processes

Practical/Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of learning and development foundational principles, including adult learning theory and instructional design
  • Dynamic and engaging presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent storytelling skills
  • Strong commercial orientation and business acumen
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and tactically
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with and influence individuals at all levels
  • Ability to work effectively, collaboratively, and inclusively in a fast-paced environment
  • Some travel required
