ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential job functions are duties that are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job. To perform this job

 Manages, tracks, and maintains fixed assets ledger by coordinating with internal departments and accounts

payable.

 Prepares fixed schedules for fixed assets and administers yearly fixed asset audit.

 Investigates and resolves accounting software (JD Edwards) problems with MIS and/or outside consultants.

 Issues, approves, and tracks Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs).

 Reconciles balance sheet accounts.

 Account reconciliation and analysis of prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, buy-up tooling, and capital

leases.

 Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly scrap reporting analysis.

 Sets up vendor accounts, General Ledger codes, and Automatic Instructions in JDE.

 Balances and posts payroll entries from payroll system (Paycom) into JDE.

 Sets up GL interface with Paycom to ensure proper reporting.

 Assists in tag control and other physical inventory duties.

 Assists with Month-End Close process and Year-End audits.

 Other duties as assigned.

 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common

fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only

limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,

diagram, and schedule form.

 Have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes or similar application software.

Experience with JD Edwards and Crystal Reports preferred.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS

Prefer candidates with the following education and experience or equivalent combination of education and

experience:

 Bachelor's degree (B. A. /B.S.) from four-year College or University with a concentration in

Accounting, Finance, or other related field.

 Familiarity with GAAP standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
