Mimecast is looking to hire a Business Systems Analyst. This position will be part of our global IT organization. This position will help design efficient business processes while utilizing data to achieve business outcomes. We are looking for someone who understands business objectives to then streamline processes that can be tied to different systems.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with business partners and Product Owners to document current processes across the spectrum of systems and solutions.
• Take and translate business requirements and turn into deliverables to the development team.
• Map & break down high level business problems into specific questions which can be answered through analysis.
• Partner with global internal teams and departments across the business.

What You'll Bring:

• A strong understanding of how our processes and data operate in the current environment. Be knowledgeable about industry best practices in their functional domain.
• An ability to run discovery sessions with business stakeholders to analyze requirements for project work and change requests.
• A knack for authoring key documents, including business requirements, business process flows, use cases, training guides and various other documents.
• Understanding of how to leverage systems and other tools (Excel, etc...) to effectively analyze data to document and support business cases for changes or to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assistance with investigations and analysis of complex support escalations.
• Running refinement sessions with architecture to build out tickets to the point of 'ready for development.
• Experience drafting documents acceptance criteria and test scenarios for requested work
• Working with stakeholders in the business to ensure that user stories are clearly defined, refined and approved for deployment
• Ownership to implement small BAU system changes (configurations), following standard IT Change/Release management process.
