- Oversee and manage production process, ensuring that production targets are met.
- Manage material receipt and placement.
- Directs the day-to-day activities of operations, Such activities include shipping, receiving, production maintenance and managing inventory.
- Act as the Key Change Agent and Driver of Change for the Company and leads by example
- Managing to ensure operational excellence and efficiency in all warehouse areas,
- Responsible for measuring key performance indicators (KPI’s).
- Places a high value on building and maintaining a positive culture, coaching, training and development
- Identifies and develops SOP's as they relate to operational practices, new equipment, and procedures.
- Ensure shipments are delivered in a timely and economically advantageous manner
- Ensure quality standards are maintained and quality on material prior to shipment
- Manage schedules of employees, overseeing production and shipping schedulers
- Communicate and enforce company policies for all Warehouse employees
- Committed to ensuring warehouse employees are trained to perform the duties of their jobs in a safe and efficient manner
- Manage dispersal of raw goods to various manufacturing process areas
- Supporting all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all employees
- 6s oversight to include the Performance of general warehouse tasks as needed as well as maintain the responsibility of achieving all operational goals
- Responsible for scheduling the weekly operations meeting
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving and production
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong team orientation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

- Experience in hollow metal
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of core education and related professional experience
- Knowledge of budgetary development, and standard operational requirements
- 5 years direct management experience of direct and indirect reports
- 5 years of operational management experience – specific to shipping, receiving, production and warehousing.
- Knowledge of computers and ability to access network applications and software
- Experience motivating and providing leadership support
- Demonstrates initiative and follow-through
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and determine task priorities
- Organizational and personnel management skills
- Welding certification preferred: TIG and ARC
- Forklift certification preferred
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend and squat, reach above shoulder level, and discern color. Must be able to occasionally sit, drive and make fine discriminations in sound.
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
- Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to do repetitive simple grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing & pulling on a frequent basis.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and drive to and from work locations.
- Must be able to travel as required for company business.
