POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
Provide the daily technical direction of the design, estimate preparation, and execution of multiple construction projects with the guidance of the project Superintendent and the mentoring of their supervisor. Manage overall project team/design team to bring the vision of the customer to life. Assist the sales team with the overall sales strategy for the project. In addition, provide management assistance to the leader of various corporate responsibilities. Leverage the Senior Project Manager’s time. This individual is encouraged to be active in internal and external committees and affiliations.

ATTENDANCE & TRAVEL:
Regular attendance is required during normal working hours, at a minimum, which may also include weekend hours and may also vary depending on geographic location. Work beyond 40 hours per week may be required. Periodic out of town travel may be required, depending on project assignment, and may include overnight stays.
SUPERVISION:
Directly supervises Project Assistants, Project Technicians, and Assistant Project Managers and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training Associates when appropriate; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Generally requires 3-5 years experience and a 4 year Engineering, Construction, or Architectural related degree from an accredited College or university with a minimum of three years in the construction industry. Experience with Design-Build delivery, Progressive/LEAN Design-Build delivery, Integrated Project Delivery methods is a plus. Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, as well as estimating and project management utilizing cost accounting software (Viewpoint is preferred) and Procore. Other related degrees if supported by construction oriented course work or experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
