Responsibilities:

- Oversee banquet operations and ensure smooth execution of events

- Coordinate with event planners and clients to understand their needs and expectations

- Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff

- Train and mentor new employees to ensure high-quality service standards

- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, decorations, and audiovisual equipment

- Ensure food and beverage are served promptly and in accordance with quality standards

- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed

- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner

- Maintain a clean and organized banquet area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

- Previous experience in banquet or catering services is required

- Strong knowledge of food industry practices, including food handling and safety regulations

- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, staff, and vendors effectively

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

- Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
