Milestone Fire Protection, LLC is Hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk Near Hialeah, FL
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing expense reports, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
**Duties:**
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Assist with month-end closing activities
**Experience:**
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation
- Knowledge of tax procedures related to accounts payable
- Understanding of debits and credits
- Familiarity with technical accounting principles
- Previous exposure to payroll processes is a plus but not requiered
- Know how to work alone without supervision
