Midway Staffing is expanding and looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team!

The Business Development Manager will partner with the Chief Sales Officer to manage full-cycle client experience through sales and account management. The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a client pipeline to hit monthly sales goals.

The Business Development Manager will:

  • Develop contact with potential customers in the industry by cold calling, emailing, or scheduling in-person meetings, and job boards.
  • Form new and continue existing relationships with companies in the customer database by visiting them in person, maintaining phone contact, and addressing issues or problems when they come up.
  • Build rapport with hiring managers within existing accounts to increase partnership opportunities.
  • Prepare and present presentations about Midway Staffing's solutions to potential clients, trade shows, or other large events to potential customers.
  • Create new methods or strategies to help the sales team reach monthly goals for product revenue to increase company profitability.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of light industrial staffing to answer specific customer questions.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Business Development, or related field and or equivalent experience.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a staffing environment with knowledge of account management and sales initiatives for recruitment best practices.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the industry's regulations and best practices.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Reliable transportation as required to travel 50% of the time
