Job Description
Responsible for executing the management and logistics of daily workflow production for assigned construction projects. Oversight, compliance, and recording of safety for the assigned project. Assisting the Project Manager by communicating inventory, potential issues and opportunities, and job performance/daily completion progress. Assist in the planning and controlling of every stage (from pre-construction, through to completion) of roofing installations or repairs of commercial and governmental properties construction projects. Complete projects on time and within budget.
ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute safety plans and compliance oversite.
Identify and rectify any practical problems in achieving the planned result.
Supervise teams and inspect the quality of work to ensure standards are met. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have an understanding of unified facilities guide specifications for section 7.
Ensure full compliance with all safety guidelines including preparing site-specific fall protection plans.
Prepare and deliver reports detailing the progress of all roofing work.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Complete multiple daily reports for internal and Federal regulatory partners.

Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the commercial roofing environment.
Demonstrated effective supervisory skills.
Ability to motivate and direct the actions of others.
Experience in project costing and planning.
Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials.
Outstanding communication skills.
Proven ability to work under minimal direct supervision.
Possess a thorough knowledge of safety standards.
Licenses and Certifications
MGC will assist in attaining licenses and certifications as needed.

Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Supervisory Responsibility
Directly supervises multiple employees and subcontractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
