MetroTech Automotive is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. MetroTech Automotive has been firmly established for over 35 years in Charlotte, NC. MetroTech offers the First Place Finish Car Care System, Detail Chemicals and Supplies, Detail Services, and Financial Services, allowing us to be a single source, full-service provider to dealerships.
Summary Job Description: The Accounts Receivable Specialist (“AR Specialist”) will be responsible for preparing, posting, verifying, and recording customer payments and records associated with accounts receivable. Their duties include preparing accurate customer invoices and statements, reviewing, and reconciling remittance statements and providing business intelligence on the receipt of payment on outstanding invoices. This role will assist with various other customer service, accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
Primary Tasks: The primary tasks of the AR Specialist are below:
- Review customer payment remittances
- Apply customer payments accurately and timely
- Resolve questions about customer records
- Prepare invoices and statements
- Make daily bank deposits
- Reconcile customer accounts as requested
- Assist with various treasury management and finance tasks
- Provide customers and partners with an exceptional experience
- Assist Controller and CFO with projects as needed
Required Skills:
- Polite and energetic communication skills
- Enjoyment with transactional accounting
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic understanding of accounts receivable
- Understanding of the Office 365 suite of products
- NetSuite experience a plus
Compensation: Salary plus commission pay.
