Funding Source: Work Location: Local (1) Primarily works at Bransford Office Campus Duration; # of months 12 months Job Summary (2-3 sentences describing job purpose): The HRIS assistant is responsible for data entry, data tracking and data management within the department, and works collaboratively with employees in Talent Strategy, Employee Benefits, eTime and Compensation and School Central Payroll to ensure that employee records are both accurate and current. The person in the position interacts daily with employees to provide information or assistance, problem solve and complete necessary documentation.

Job Duty/Resp. 1:
Responsible for timely, efficient and accurate processing of all employee transactions (hiring, transfers, promotions, demotions, separations, etc.). Job Duty/Resp. 2:
Collects necessary documents and creates or updates electronic employee file. Job Duty/Resp. 3:
Maintains records on current employees to keep profile and salary information up to date. Job Duty/Resp. 4:
May act as receptionist at the HR desk to assist employees with forms, badges, applications or other information. Job Duty/Resp. 5:
Completes and processes student loan verifications, tuition fee waivers, experience verification forms for separated employees and other documents as necessary. Job Duty/Resp. 6:
Assists in fiscal year reporting to the state Department of Education. Job Duty/Resp. 7:
Reviews and processes education and experience verifications for the purposes of setting salaries at appropriate levels for certificated staff. Job Duty/Resp. 8:
Interacts daily with employees to provide information or assistance, problem solve and complete necessary documentation.

Education and Experience Requirements Education (training/degree): Required minimum: High School diploma Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources. Experience Requirements: Minimum of three years' experience in human resources, call center or sales and service environment. Licenses, Certifications or Registrations Required: None Skills Required: Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated customer service and listening skills, ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization, a high level of skill in problem solving and/or conflict resolution and the ability to exercise effective judgement.
