The Human Relations Business Partner will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to the organization. This includes partnering with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, providing guidance and coaching to managers and employees, and managing HR programs and initiatives. Manage the recruitment, training, planning and development of associates in conjunction with the Human Relations Generalist. Represent the company’s best interest on all matters regarding associate morale, motivation and general administration of long-term goals. Implement in the development of company policies and procedures for all associates. Develop policies and direct and coordinate compensation, benefits, training and all associate services. Analyze hours and manning reports mining data for required reporting. Directly responsible for the recruitment process and interviews of non-union hourly and specific salary positions. Work in conjunction with the production department regarding manning weekly requirements and manning movements. Develops and maintains HRIS (Paycor) which meets management informational needs. Oversees the analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by law or local governing agencies. Represents management and works with supervision to resolve associate issues and concerns. Represent management and work with the union stewards and president to resolve grievances. Provides services to associates to answer all benefit questions, resolve health claim issues and workers’ compensation claims. Maintain, develop and implement HIPAA requirements and privacy compliance. Implements applications and proposals to submit to fund granting authorities; such as governmental and foundations. Coordinates and documents training courses for all associates at all levels of training as well as research and select outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specific topics. Back-up for bi-weekly payroll. Administer, 401(k) contributions/deferrals for company retirement plan. Develop and maintain performance reviews, job descriptions and qualification checklists.
