Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old). JOB SUMMARY:The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Beverage Department for all Mesquite Gaming properties. Oversee the beverage programs for all bars from planning to execution. Set objectives and guidelines, monitor inventories to ensure an adequate supply of beverages, and coordinate with suppliers to purchase orders, building positive business relationships in the process. Moreover, a beverage manager monitors operations and resolves issues promptly and professionally, all while implementing policies and procedures. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: A successful Beverage Manager will have strong attention to detail and have past experience in beverage and/or food operations. This manager will be able to engage in multiple projects at a time. Must have the ability to resolve conflicts and problems with patrons and fellow team members. Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must have leadership qualities and the ability to motivate others. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Establish standards of beverage service and ensure they are achieved, ensuring satisfaction of the guests is maintained. Responsible for meeting Health and Safety Regulations, Company guidelines, service standards, labor standards, and product quality within all areas of the beverage department. Provide necessary beverage training with emphasis on sales, service, and product knowledge to ensure operational success. Ensure beverage options and experiences are competitive within the market and exceed guest expectations. Assist with ongoing analysis of financial reports to monitor the profitability and expenses of beverage operations.
