We provide community-based prevention and family foster care services, group homes in the community for struggling children and families within the child welfare and juvenile justice systems, and short-term residential services for unaccompanied migrant children. To meet the needs of New York City’s ever-changing foster care population. Our children have often experienced significant levels of trauma, poverty and violence. As they grow and mature, their individual needs change. Our assessments, health counseling, and selected treatments change to meet their new needs. Our children's physical and mental health as well as their strengths must be supported so they can reach their full potential.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, the LPN will be responsible for providing best practice nursing care to our clients. Our clients are a mix of infants, toddlers, school age children and teens and are male and female. LPNs will work with birth families, foster parents, and other members of each child’s treatment team.
Day shifts Monday - Friday. Occasional Saturday mornings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State, current CPR certification and completion of required courses in Child Abuse and Infection Control. Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.

LPN: $30.00 - 36.00/hour. Full-time 40 hours/week.
Hiring Incentive - $1,500 after 500 worked hours.
