The South Cascade Surgery Center is growing! We are looking to hire a Perioperative Registered Nurse who will provide patient & family focused care as part of our health care team.

Our Surgery Center is a fast-paced environment that serves a patient population from adolescents (minimum of 13 years) to geriatric (80 years).

We are open Monday through Friday starting at 0600 and close when surgeries are done for the day. Therefore, we require a willingness to work varied hours with flexible schedules. With that in mind, we do not work on Holidays or weekends, and we do not take call. In the event the Surgery Center is closed (physician on vacation, etc) all full-time staff are guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours per week. In addition, our physicians provide us lunch daily!

The position(s) we are currently hiring for will predominantly be Pre-Operative and PACU nursing. The successful candidate must also be open to the potential of being trained to work in the Operating Room.

Education, Experience & Requirements:

Current unencumbered Oregon Nursing License

AHA BLS & ACLS certification by end of month from 30 days of hire & maintained.

Critical Care experience preferred but not required.

Candidate must pass Urine Analysis and criminal background check.

Ability to exert up to fifty (50) pounds. Able to sit, stand, walk for prolonged periods. Able to lift, position, push and/or transfer patients. Able to do considerable stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Wages (DOE): $47.81 – $69.12
