This Ambulatory Surgery Center is affiliated with a reputable health system in the area, and is specialized in general surgery, urology, gynecology, pain, and ortho procedures. The Surgery Center is rapidly growing, and is expected to open an additional 4 ORs.
The Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator will work in tandem with the physicians, and be supported by a team of Registered Nurses, Technicians, and ancillary staff. Since this ASC is affiliated with a reputable health system in the area, theAmbulatory Surgery Center Administrator will also cross collaborate with clinical leaders and the hospital administration.
The Surgery Center Administrator should be an individual with previous experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center, ideally as an Administrator or Director of Nursing. The ASC Administrator should have previous experience overseeing an ASC, preparing and managing budgets, maintaining regulatory compliance, physician recruitment, and leading day-to-day operations. Although not required, it would be great for the ASC Administrator to have prior experience opening up and/or growing a newer Ambulatory Surgery Center and hold an active RN license.
