We are looking to add to our team in the San Francisco Bay area as a Help Desk Technician. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with a Call Management and Ticketing System.

- Installation, configuration and support of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems (Windows and Mac OS.)

- Installation, configuration and support of Microsoft Desktop Applications (Office Suites and Office 365)

- Provide remote desktop support for end users’ workstations

- Provide support for common IT tasks (password resets, new user setups, etc.)

- Document, track, and monitor support requests and provide timely feedback to end users during and upon resolution.

- Troubleshoot Network, VOIP, Internet connectivity problems, peripherals (printers, scanners, and other devices)

- Assist the Senior Network Engineers with installation, administration, and testing of network servers, operating system software, hubs, routers, switches, cabling etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have own transportation, a valid California state drivers’ license, and able to travel to multiple dealerships on a regular basis.

- 3 years experience in an IT support or similar role in an enterprise environment.

- A Certification minimum; Network Certification preferred.

- Understanding of LAN design, network protocols, client configuration, IP addressing, and remote connectivity.

- Experience using a ticketing system.

- Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.

- Solid knowledge of PC operating systems (Both Windows & Mac OS required).

- Experience performing hardware and software upgrades.

- Proven ability to: work independently as well as part of a team, effectively multi- task, consistently meet deadlines, prioritize and organize work load.
