Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Mercedes Benz of North Haven. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sales team and driving sales in our luxury automotive dealership. This is a full-time position in the auto industry, based in North Haven, Connecticut. This role offers a competitive salary with base pay and commission, as well as several benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a highly competitive compensation package of $150,000 to $180,000 per year, paid on a weekly basis. In addition to base pay, you will have the opportunity to earn commission based on sales performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching plan, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales goals
- Train and educate sales team on product knowledge and sales techniques
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
- Participate in sales meetings and collaborate with other department managers to ensure a cohesive and successful sales process
- Work with finance department to secure financing options for customers
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving any customer concerns
- Oversee inventory management to ensure appropriate stock levels and variety of vehicles for customers
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in market conditions
- Continuously develop and foster relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in a sales management role in the auto industry preferred
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of automotive financing options and methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
