Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced :
Mental Health Clinician (onsite position)
Minimum of three (3) years of experience required.
This is a PRN/PART-TIME position working various days a week and located in Norfolk, VA (23513).
Responsibilities :
A Day in the life of a Mental Health Clinician :
As a Mental Health Clinician your primary objectives are to assess individuals in crisis to provide or link the individual and/or significant others with needed mental health services in the least restrictive setting, thus diverting from State Hospital care to other options.
Requirements for the Mental Health Clinician :
Required: 3 years as a mental health clinician
Required: Unrestricted licensure through the Virginia DHP as an LPC or LCSW
Required: BLS
Required: Master's Degree in Human Services or a related field
Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required: Virginia Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications for the Mental Health Clinician :
Preferred: CPI or TOVID Training
Preferred: experience working in a community setting
