Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Early Intervention Case Manager***.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required working in the early intervention field working with infants/children with developmental delays who are between the ages of birth to 3 years of age.

This is a FULL TIME/LONG TERM TEMP position requiring availability between the hours of 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA (23513).
Responsibilities :
A Day in the life of an Early Intervention Case Manager :
As an Early Intervention Case Manager you will provide service coordination/case management services to children birth to three years of age, with developmental delays, diagnosed conditions or atypical development & their families by assessing, planning, linking, monitoring, and advocating for them in response to their changing needs. Completes clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements for the Early Intervention Case Manager :

• Required: 2 years of experience in the early intervention field working with infants/children with developmental delays between the ages of birth to 3 years old.
• Required: Bachelors in Human Services or a related field
• Required: CPR and First Aid (or must be certifiable)
• Required: Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record as reported by the Department of Motor Vehicles
• Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
• Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
• Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to finish work by dead lines.

Preferred Qualifications for the Early Intervention Case Manager :

• Preferred: Understanding of current policies, programs, laws, rules and regulations in the field of early intervention and developmental disabilities.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Medicaid billing requirements
• Preferred: Awareness of the rights and needs of persons with developmental disabilities and their families
• Preferred: Case management principles and methods
• Preferred: State and community resources which relate to the delivery of services to infants with developmental disabilities
• Preferred: Typical child developmental milestones, developmental disabilities and the capacity to understand complex medical conditions.
