Continuous Improvement Manager:

The Continuous Improvement Manager will collaborate closely with the Continuous Improvement Team, PMO, and Operations teams to analyze, enhance, implement, and evaluate processes across Mears Holdings. The role involves supporting the Director of Continuous Improvement and Operations teams in maintaining a consistent approach to tracking projects under blanket contracts and awarded bid projects. Active involvement in standardizing workflows and introducing technical solutions is integral to the position. This role is hybrid, with workdays split between our various office locations in Colorado.

  • Negotiate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Effectively manage both internal and external resources.
  • Oversee internal processes and those driven by customer requirements.
  • Develop project schedules, emphasizing the balance of tasks with available resources and financial goals.
  • Review production schedules, assess work progress, and optimize asset utilization; collaborate with managers to implement corrective actions to meet production and profit goals.
  • Implement and maintain project execution, planning, and management to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects and the realization of all benefits.
  • Understand, forecast, and communicate project workload within the division.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Salary rate ranging from $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year based on experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction field with a focus on process improvement, project management, estimating, and/or scheduling.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Lean tools, Lean Six Sigma belt certification, or PMP certification.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to support multiple operating units nationwide; potential opportunities for future relocation.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and detail-focused individual.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
  • Experience with project management software is preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated progressive skills in job knowledge, communication, planning, collaboration, decision-making, judgment, and problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to facilitate teams and drive change.
  • Familiarity with change management models.

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
