Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Landscape Estimator to join our team. The Landscape Estimator will play a key role in the success of our projects by accurately estimating the costs associated with landscaping services and providing timely and competitive pricing to prospective clients. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of landscape materials, techniques, and labor requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • - Review project specifications, drawings, and site conditions to develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for landscaping projects, including but not limited to site preparation, planting, irrigation, hardscaping, and drainage.
  • - Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements, identify potential challenges, and gather relevant data for cost estimation.
  • - Analyze project plans and blueprints to determine quantities of materials, labor hours, and equipment needed for each phase of the project.
  • - Collaborate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure all aspects of the project are accounted for in the estimate.
  • - Obtain quotes and pricing from vendors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
  • - Utilize estimating software and tools to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates,

including material take-offs, labor rates, and overhead costs.

- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals to prospective clients in a timely

manner, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications.

- Participate in bid review meetings and presentations with clients to discuss project scope,

pricing, and value-added services.

- Maintain organized records of all project estimates, bids, and correspondence for future

reference and analysis.

- Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to adjust estimates accordingly and optimize profitability.

Qualifications:

  • - Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • - Proven experience in landscape estimating or a similar role, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
  • - Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, techniques, and best practices.
  • - Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • - Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • - Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
