This position will require an analytically minded individual, with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager to collaborate with all departments to strategically improve internal efficiency as continue to grow. The individual’s analyses, recommendations, and ability to execute collaboratively will directly impact the development, growth, and effective utilization of resources across all departments with the business unit. This position will elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate business/user requirements for processes, policies, and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Formulate and define process and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems technology implementation capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results.
• Analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation more effective and efficient processes.
• Influence’s business partners and service providers regarding priorities.
• Identifies and documents business strategies, objectives, and drivers.
• Analyze and documents business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI.
• Re-engineers processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
• Conducts tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met.
• Verifies through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts.
• Reports and reviews testing results.
• Trains internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems, or new procedures. Conducts one-on-one or classroom training depending upon the size or desire of the audience.
• May mentor, guide, advise and/or check the work of less experienced business analysts.
• Generate Data File for various tax notifications
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
• Continually build efficiencies to create industry-leading execution time from opportunity discovery to operational delivery

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to speak effectively with customers and employees. Ability to proofread correspondence, detect and correct errors, read, and interpret city/county tax ordinances. Ability to prepare routine correspondence and replies for signature with minimal guidance. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Basic knowledge of accounting/finance principals helpful.

Ability to satisfactorily resolve routine situations based on supervisor’s guidance or written or verbal instructions. Must have advanced proficiencies in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum 5 years in an office environment with heavy inbound/outbound phone experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly motivated, team player, advanced organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Able to prioritize work, meet deadlines and perform well under pressure. High integrity and commitment to quality and adaptive to changing situations. Advance proficiencies in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. Salesforce and Constant Contact experience a plus.

Work Environment:

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual work station, using telephone and computer

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
• This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
• The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone
