Bartender (Part-Time)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our dynamic team Bastards Canteen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.

- Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.

- Ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

2. Beverage Preparation:

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity.

- Adhere to recipes and standards for consistency in drink quality.

- Handle and pour drinks responsibly, following all legal and safety guidelines.

3. Efficiency and Multi-Tasking:

- Work efficiently during peak hours to serve customers promptly.

- Handle multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality.

4. Cleanliness and Organization:

- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

- Wash glassware and utensils promptly, ensuring a hygienic and visually appealing bar.

5. Upselling and Promotion:

- Suggest upsells and promotions to increase revenue and enhance the customer experience.

- Stay informed about specials, promotions, and new menu items.

6. Cash Handling:

- Accurately process customer payments, handle cash, and provide change.

- Keep an organized and balanced cash drawer throughout the shift.

7. Knowledge of Products:

- Stay informed about the beverage menu, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and specials.

- Continuously educate oneself on industry trends and new products.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Bartender in a busy and fast-paced environment.

- Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Responsibe Beverage Service training and certification.
