Job Summary

As an acting team member of Waterdrops Express Car Wash, the Keyholder is responsible for working under the Store Manager in overseeing daily office activities, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures. The Keyholder's duties include assisting cashiers/wash attendants and providing excellent customer service. They also provide breaks/meals and keep the entry area clean and organized.

Work Context

• Responsibility for Others - Position has a high level of responsibility for others and assists store managers managing a team shift of approximately 2–4 employees.

• Body Positioning - Ability to intermittently and repeatedly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periods. Ability to lift or move items of light to heavy weight, up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Position requires regularly walking, standing, using hands, reaching with hands and arms.
• Position requires peripheral vision, ability to see color, ability to adjust focus, distance vision, close vision.
• Work Attire - Position requires a uniform including black or khaki pants, company provided black/white polo shirt, non-slip shoes, company provided name-tag and access card.
• Pace and Scheduling - Weekend and holiday availability is also required. This can change depending on the store having appropriate management present in your absence or any emergency situations. Work schedules may be altered by the Store Manager to meet business needs.

Primary Job Duties

• Greet customers entering the establishment.
• Position frequently communicates with staff and the management team. Must report any emergencies, questions and concerns to the Store Manager.
• Key Holders are expected to cover opening shifts the days the Office Manager is off, close the store throughout the week if necessary, and must be available to work weekends.
• Responsible for ensuring the store is closed down properly and ready for business the next day.
• Must have knowledge of opening/closing procedures for both the cash register (KIOSK) or in some locations the POS and the tunnel
• Must be able to know how to deal with incidents and fill out a Customer Experience Report (CER).
• Keep the entire property spotlessly clean and ensure everything is kept in the proper place and organized.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees if instructed by the Store Manager
• Responsible for providing proper rest and meal breaks to all employees
• De-escalate customer problems/complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Answer the telephone according to the company guidelines
• Operates standard office equipment efficiently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
