- Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure using Cisco, Brocade, Aruba, and PureStorage network equipment.
- Implement and manage Ethernet, Ethernet Switching, IP assignment, and IP routing protocols.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze network requirements.
- Configure and maintain network security systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct network capacity planning and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest network technologies and industry trends.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
- Create and maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in a relevant area and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with Cisco, Brocade, and Aruba, PureStorage network equipment.
- 3 years of knowledge and experience with Ethernet, Ethernet Switching, IP, IP assignment, and IP routing.
- Experience and success with LAN, WAN, MAN, and WLAN design and implementations.
- Experience in designing and implementing TCP/IP networks in both switches and routed networks, including VPN experience.
- Familiarity with virtualized system/network infrastructure including VMWare, Microsoft, and Citrix environments.
- Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support.
