Job Overview:

As a Business Development Manager at Masters Petersens Flooring and Design, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth across both the Commercial and Residential divisions. Leveraging strategic relationships, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence and fostering key connections within the flooring industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Vendors, A&D (Architects and Design) Firms, and General Contractors.
  2. Business Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth in both the commercial and residential sectors. Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve sales targets.
  3. Product and Service Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and services within the flooring business. Articulate product features and benefits to clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  4. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Use this information to make informed business decisions and contribute to the development of marketing strategies.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure seamless communication and alignment of business objectives.
  6. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, vendors, and partners. Ensure terms and conditions are favorable and align with company goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the flooring industry.
  • Strong network of contacts in the flooring business, including Vendors, A&D Firms, and General Contractors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $85,000 Annually
