Under the direction of the Workers' Compensation Commissioner, the incumbent manages all aspects of the Workers' Compensation Commission office including claims, records, and administrative functions, and provides administrative and executive support to the Commissioner. High school diploma or GED required. Must have some knowledge of workers compensation claims procedures. Must be proficient in the operation of a database management system and have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Ability to read, analyze and interpret Tribal/Governmental laws and regulations. Must be able to write business correspondence and agency documents. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and groups with tact and diplomacy. Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.
