We’re looking for:

• An experienced Payroll/Benefits Specialist who will assist the Director, Payroll, Benefits & Operations with all aspects of the administration of benefit plans and payroll processing.
• Knowledge of:
  • 401k Retirement Plans, Medical, Dental, Short-Term Disability, Long-Disability,
  • Worker’s Compensation, Leave of Absence, Flexible Spending, HSA, etc.
• Legal aspects governing benefits and payroll
• A liaison between Employees and Insurance Providers to resolve benefit related problems, ensure effective utilization of plans and positive Employee Relations.
• Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for HR processes.
• Ability to work independently, while still collaborating with others.
• Provides administrative support to Human Resources functions as needed.

It’ll be helpful if you have:

• Computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS, benefits and payroll systems (Paylocity, PeopleSoft, etc.).
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills.
• Good punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail a must.
• Strong interpersonal skills essential.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
