- This position requires 3 - 5 years’ experience in a maintenance environment with proven knowledge of general maintenance.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Availability to be on-call weekends, holidays, and nights on a rotating schedule.
- Follows safety protocols.
- Follows all rules and policies of the club.
- Displays a sense of urgency with all tasks, reports back to Chief Engineer in a timely manner regarding project status and completion.
- Completes all required tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintains and makes general repairs to the H.V.A.C. system, plumbing, kitchen equipment, and electrical systems.
- Maintains all equipment according to established preventive maintenance schedules.
- Participates in routine meetings with manager to disseminate information, discuss problems and solutions, etc.
- Possesses knowledge of role during emergency situations and is aware of fire and life procedures.
- Works independently.
- Participates as an active member of the staff in improving the service and operation of the club.
- Serves as an advisor to painting and light bulb inventory.
- Keeps the workshop area safe, clean, and well-lit.
- Maintains a well-groomed and professional appearance at all times.
- All other work as assigned by the Chief Engineer.
- Must be able to handle loud noise levels, chemicals, and equipment following all safety protocols.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, pulling, and reaching.
- Continuous standing, walking.
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment.
- Must be able to work during seasonal functions.
