Automation Personnel Services is Hiring a Preventive Maintenance Technician Near Kennesaw, GA
Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday thru Friday, 6:45am to 3:15pm.
Preventive Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Properly install, repair or service machinery, equipment, and support systems as required.
- Execute predictive and preventative maintenance practices for all production equipment.
- Work directly with production and management to problem-solve and correct production issues that will ensure maximum production efficiencies.
- Properly trouble-shoot and maintain production lines.
- Properly implement PM systems for all equipment, including electrical or mechanical adjustments, inspections, and minor repairs.
- Identify and correct potential equipment problems in a timely manner.
- Use computer and associated software on PLCs to troubleshoot and correct equipment issues.
- Properly perform all shift requirements.
- Assist in implementation of projects as required.
- Use/read measuring instruments including tape measure, micrometers, calipers, volt/amp meter to perform job tasks.
- Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Work in compliance with all OSHA standards and guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean.
- High school diploma, GED and more than one year of experience.
- More than 2 years Industrial Equipment Maintenance.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to work flexible and rotating schedule to meet demands.
- Work overtime and weekends as required.
- Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to operate both mechanical and power operated tools.
- Drug screening, background check and lifting assessments are required
