Marathon TS is Hiring a Project Manager Near Suffolk, VA

Marathon TS is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team within a Program Executive Office (PEO) supporting the Department of the Navy / USMC. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing project management support and contributing to the implementation, management, and assessment of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.

Candidates considered for this role must have an Active DoD Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management support to the DEVSECOPS Center of Excellence, ensuring effective coordination and execution of projects within the PEO.
  • Utilize expertise in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service lifecycle to develop, implement, and manage ITSM processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess ITSM processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions for optimization.
  • Apply seven (7) years of demonstrative experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, or financial/cost analysis to contribute to the success of the DEVSECOPS initiatives.
  • Demonstrate significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business or a Technical Field.
  • Seven (7) years of demonstrative experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, or financial/cost analysis.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification required, or substantial experience in ITIL/ITSM will be considered equivalent.
  • Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
