The Role

We are currently hiring for a Dispenser Service, Manager for the Mapei Concrete and Cement Admixtures Team. In this role you will direct Dispenser Service Technicians field activities including performing service activities for field customer accounts; assist customers with equipment, product use, orders and applications, set-up and preventative maintenance, technical sales training & support, product claim investigation and general customer assistance. 

• Participate with regional manager in planning and scheduling major dispenser service work, plan and schedule weekly and monthly events in accordance with the needs of the company and the customer.
• Evaluates and communicates regularly with regional manager to ensure that personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency and determine training requirements.
• Manages larger installations, start-up and commissioning projects; coordinates and directs a team of technicians and/or installing contractors; performs prestart-up inspections and completes turnover of equipment.
• Work with purchasing to streamline, improve and reduce complex current policies.
• Interact directly with internal as well as external customers regularly. 
• Reviews work orders, invoices, Po’s and time reports for accuracy, and to ensure accuracy. 
• Develop tracking and inventory system for all dispenser equipment.
• Participate in dispenser service technician interviews.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain dispenser spending budget.
• Develop plan to explain diagnostics to customers.
• Develop detailed dispenser maintenance schedule to maximize dispenser lifetimes.
• Reviews technicians’ work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques and safety requirements; makes recommendations as requirements to improve quality and productivity.
• Participates in the creation of training courses, product seminars and methods of application.
• Oversees assigned service vehicles, monitors vehicles to ensure they are being maintained and operated as required and used according to company policy.
• Assists the Research and Development Department conducting field tests and providing information.
• Actively assist in continuous improvement activities and offer positive suggestions for improvements and innovations.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Min of high school diploma or GED, required.
• Trade certification and/or minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. 
• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, basic plumbing and control equipment and systems. 
• Reading and understanding electrical and mechanical prints and drawings. 
• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, basic plumbing and control equipment and systems.
• Reading and understanding electrical and mechanical prints and drawings.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Ability to maintain high travel requirement, 50-75% at times.
• Must possess the physical ability to climb concrete plants and platforms, bend and stretch to perform tasks; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently; and up to 100 pounds with assistance; forklift experience required.
