Food Runner
Location: Virginia Beach, VA, 23451
Job Description:
The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table in a timely and efficient manner. The Food Runner must work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered promptly. The Food Runner must also be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered promptly
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Assist servers with any additional tasks as needed
- Ensure that the dining area is clean and organized
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Food Runner or similar role preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
