Pantry/Prep Cook

Job Description:

The Pantry/Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, and measuring ingredients
• Assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a pantry/prep cook or similar role
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
