If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment - this position may be for your. This Administrative Assistant position provides clerical and administrative support for the District Attorney Office and the Victim/Witness program. This position:

• Acts as receptionist. Screens and directs calls, answers general questions, and directs the caller to appropriate agencies as required. Greets the public and answers general questions. Dates, stamps, and distributes mail. Routes court calendar notices to all affected parties.
• Provides general clerical support. Faxes and mails documents. Maintains office filing system, including filing all legal correspondence and documents in the proper files in a timely manner.
• Copies and sends out Discovery. Maintains records of discovery materials sent and invoices for discovery costs. Enter information into Protect, inlcuding fingerprint tracking numbers.
• Performs Victim/Witness support responsibilities, including but not limited to: completing documents necessary for restitution and providing court support to victims.

A high school diploma and whatever combination of additional education and work experience provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
