Position Summary:

Responsible for guiding and directing the activities of service and repair operations to meet customer goals and objectives - Working directly with Shop foreman, District Managers and Inside sales to assure the company is providing established service levels.

Objectives:

· Maximize customer satisfaction.

· Manages team to meet P&L expectations.

· Drive Lead measure KPI’s on continuous improvement.

· Align with District Managers on sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

· Act as a working team leader for operations team at the assigned location.

· Attract and retain talent which is key to the fluid power market place.

· Create training and development plans to help assimilate associates into organization.

· Provide ongoing supervision, training, coaching and overall direction to ensure work is completed accurately and timely.

· Conduct periodic performance reviews with operations representatives.

· Knowledge of the Customer--develop knowledge of the customer accounts serviced, specifically:

· Overall understanding of the buying process and business process for major customers

· Identification of critical issues at major customers and knowledge/support of plans to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Be able to support service technicians on the floor with hands-on assistance when needed for weekly expectations.

Hours: 40-45 hours, minimal OT. Standard day-shift operations.

Requirements:

· At least 3-5 years in prior operations management in a service, mechanical or related field.

· 2 or more years managing as a supervisor or working in a lead position is desirable.

· Background: Must have hands on: Hydraulic repair shop experience, Leadership role as shop lead or foreman and ability to grow and expand the role and responsibilities overtime.

o Mechanical background in heavy equipment servicing will also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
