About the Job:

The Senior Development Manager will be responsible for leading the technical team, managing resource allocation, budgeting, and project planning, while also ensuring that the solution developed meets quality standards and is free of defects or errors. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality. You would manage resource allocation, budgeting, and project planning, while also providing ongoing training and support to team members. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that the software developed meets quality standards and is free of defects or errors. This is a remote position based in the United States.

Who You Are:

We are looking for a mature, experienced, and solution-oriented individual with leadership skills who is passionate about technology and has a desire to manage a team. This person has experience with cloud software and proficiency in at least one programming language such as CSS, JavaScript, HTML, Python, SQL, Ampscript, or C is necessary. In addition, strong written and oral communication skills, a hardworking attitude, and openness to learning and improving are essential. They posess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of technical professionals. The right candidate should have a strong track record of managing a technical team and experience in cloud software. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the technical team and manage resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.
• Mastery of our core technological offerings (Datorama, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud and Pardot)
• Developing a deep understanding of Magna’s software development principles, including programming languages, database systems, and software design patterns.
• Involvement in the hiring of new team members and providing ongoing training to existing team members to ensure they have the skills needed to complete tasks and/or improve performance.
• Ensure that the software being developed meets quality standards and is free of defects or errors.
• Project budgeting, including monitoring expenses, allocating resources, and making adjustments as needed.
• Must be able to identify potential issues before they arise and provide solutions to mitigate them.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A major in Information Science, Computer Science, or Data Architecture
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as CSS, IS, JavaScript, HTML, Python, SQL, Ampscript, or C
• Experience in cloud software (Salesforce preferred)
• 2-5 years of experience in an Agency/Professional services/ Integrations firm or managed services organization needed
• Minimum 1 year experience running a team
• Strong written and oral communication skills
