The Construction Contract Support Specialist is a key member of the team, responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and technical support throughout the construction project lifecycle. They will play a vital role in managing contracts, ensuring compliance, facilitating smooth project execution, and reviewing and interpreting construction plans and blueprints.

Responsibilities:

• Manage construction contracts, including reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting contract documents and construction plans and blueprints.
• Prepare and process contract amendments, change orders, and other contractual documents.
• Track and monitor contract performance, including budget, schedule, and milestones.
• Identify and resolve contractual issues promptly and proactively.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders on contract matters.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and files.
• Review and interpret construction plans and blueprints to ensure they align with contractual requirements.
• Research and analyze industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
• Assist with contract negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Develop and implement effective contract management procedures.
• Stay informed of current trends and best practices in construction contract management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction contract management, CEI project administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, contract law, construction best practices, and construction documents.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
