Madden’s is currently seeking the position of Banquet Services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and tear down all event spaces according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) details and Maddens standards. Examples include tables, chairs, podiums, stages, risers, and buffets.
• Helping to set up sound and lighting equipment.
• Maintaining smaller events such as coffee breaks, bag lunches and meeting refreshments.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
• Helps to maintain a clean banquet or catering kitchen, coolers, equipment, storage rooms and hallways.
• Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.
• Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.
• Ensuring all opening/closing and side work duties are completed every shift.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Physical Demands:

Primarily walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, both in person and by telephone, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50-pound boxes and items sometimes repeatedly.

Expected Hours of Work:

Variable weekly schedule with nights weekends and holidays required.
