We are a collaborative mid-sized agency with an immediate opportunity for a Vice President to help form and lead our Multicultural Marketing team !
As Vice President of Multicultural Marketing at M Booth, you will lead strategy and oversee programming on some of our biggest and most exciting brands ranging from CPG, beauty, and retail to fitness, food & beverage, and spirits brands. You'll be responsible for building and leading the Multicultural Marketing team and evolving this expertise at the agency. This specialty team will focus on PR, communications and influencer marketing to effectively reach and resonate with diverse audiences, including but not limited to Black, Hispanic, AAPI, LGBTQIA communities. Whether drawing from your own personal lived experiences or utilizing market research and consumer data trends, you will lead the charge to comprehend and incorporate considerations from the experiences of individuals within these intersectional communities. You'll possess expert client relations skills, people and agency management skills, marketing savvy to sell in new projects and identify new business, lead presentations, and guide your teams and clients to success.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage the Multicultural Marketing team and its corresponding workflow to create an inclusive and inspired team
  • Collaborate with leaders across the agency to ensure communications and campaigns are authentic, inclusive
  • Serve as embed on Skin, Personal Care and Home Care business and consult on brands across the agency that need integrated multicultural marketing support
  • Dissect client business objectives/goals for reaching multicultural audiences and craft strategies based on trends and insights that achieve those goals in a bold way
  • Lead sell-in of multicultural programming
  • Manage budgets and resources to allow for efficiency and maximum impact
  • Develop metrics to measure performance against strategic goals
  • Be client relationship lead, and serve as a trusted voice and advisor
  • Counsel clients on cultural diversity and how brands can engage in authentic, relevant ways
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 8 years of multicultural marketing experience inclusive of work as part of an integrated agency team (IAT); experience in beauty, CPG is a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking), a plus but not required
  • Solid foundation in public relations- both traditional media and digitalcommunications, and events
  • Solid foundation in influencer marketing - both organic and understanding of paid
  • Proven ability to lead projects, communicate effectively, think strategically
  • Proven ability to manage a team
  • Ability to "roll with it" and be nimble when there are changes to pathways and needs to counsel on pivots
  • Ability to counsel and provide ongoing strategic POVs
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in large integrated planning and programming
  • Ability to command a room and get stakeholder buy-in from multiple channels
  • Ability to travel and be in person with clients in their office, at events, and activations (this is required)

Our Flexible Work Policy:
We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event.
