Position Information Hiring Manager: Director, Head of Investor Diligence Department: Product Specialist Department Overview The Product Specialist (“PS”) Team creates, updates and disseminates information, messaging and materials for investor communications initiatives and assists Marketing in developing information, messaging and communications materials for other audiences. The team works with Firm leadership, the other Investor Partners Group (“IPG”) Teams, Direct Lending and Broadly Syndicated Loans, Structured Finance, Fund Accounting and Compliance to create and disseminate information that is timely, accurate, on-brand and on-message. In addition, the team assists Business Development in technical discussions with potential and current investors. The team also frequently develops and / or presents content for investor-oriented presentations, panels and speaking opportunities. Position Responsibilities The Vice President (or Assistant Vice President) will directly support IPG’s sales efforts by contributing to the creation of investor marketing materials. Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Acting in a player / coach capacity in creating, updating and ensuring on-time completion for recurring materials and other deliverables (e.g., product pitchbooks, performance updates, webcasts and internal communications) Collaborating with Product Specialists to create original content and collateral for new strategies and fund structures Improving content design, packaging and delivery; optimizing the presentation of information with effectiveness, clarity and pinpoint accuracy Analyzing product and investment data to extrapolate insights to craft and present consistent and clear messaging Forming relationships with key partners across the Firm to source relevant data and content for marketing materials, investor messaging and ad-hoc projects Participating in internal projects that support fundraising needs and firmwide marketing Candidate Requirements Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required 5 years of relatable experience in financial services working on product strategy and messaging, portfolio data and analytics or investor marketing and communications Understanding of private debt or fixed income is a plus Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint Experience with Seismic preferred Outstanding organization and project management skills, particularly with respect to managing time-sensitive requests Exceptional attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to take initiative and work independently while demonstrating strong teamwork Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills Critical Competencies for Success Our Gold Standards Model defines key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions: Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically. Relationship Management: Creates ways to engage others, cultivate trust and build long-term win-win partnerships with investors, business partners and internal teams. Compensation and Benefits For New York City Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $160,000 to $220,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an ‘at-will position’ and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
