LUV car wash is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Fort Lauderdale, FL
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our LUV Car Wash sites. The Maintenance Technician will oversee the mechanical and electrical equipment in our specific car wash region. Our technician will perform general maintenance on car wash components, repair, and maintain faulty equipment, and document repairs per LUV Car Wash policy.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Oversee the mechanical and electrical systems at approximately 3-5 locations
· Perform all repairs and maintenance on our car wash systems and components
· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components
· Scheduling projects/repairs
· Ordering necessary replacement parts and keeping stock of necessary spare parts
· Address and repair emergency break downs in a timely manner
· Adhere to OSHA guidance and safety protocols
· LOTO compliance procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
3 years of industrial/commercial equipment repair and maintenance
3 years of electrical troubleshooting and repair
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Self-starter and able to work independently or in a team environment
Strong understanding of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) protocols
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly, respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, see clearly and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds or more, work in extreme weather and wear PPE correctly throughout the day.
