We're hiring a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to join our team as we continue executing our mission to provide technology solutions to improve the quality of life in senior living communities.
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible for the development and implementation of successful sales and marketing strategies through community outreach, client and vendor management, and thoughtful, calculated decision making. This Vice President will report to the CEO and act as a key member of leadership, primarily responsible for increased sales and business development of Lumenant’s operations.

Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing:
· Identify best practices for continuous growth within current markets and develop a plan to cultivate new relationships in markets unreached.
· Design, implement, and manage all aspects of sales and marketing to include forecasting, planning, budgeting, and validation.
· Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase profitable sales and revenue.
· Analyze and evaluate marketing efforts for data to continuously improve our market reach and sales methods.
· Collaborate with operations to review pricing and proposal strategies and offer calculated suggestions where applicable.
· Cultivate impenetrable relationships within the community centered around trust, care, and operational excellence.
· Align sales and marketing with the Lumenant brand and mission by creating and tracking key performance indicators at the organizational and team levels.
· Ensure clients continue to receive extraordinary levels of quality and customer care as they transition through the customer lifecycle.
Leadership:
· Facilitates and encourages a culture of cross-collaboration, open communication, and solutions-oriented approaches to challenges.
· Acts as a key player in the development of goals, strategic initiatives, and planning efforts for the organization
· Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
· Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
· Participates in the hiring and training of departmental managers.
· Works with the organization’s departments to collaborate on organizational timelines to ensure all are working collaboratively toward our mutual goals.
· Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
· Oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation administration, benefits, and leaves of absence; recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or related field.
· Master of Business Administration and/or Project Management Professional preferred.
· 10 years of experience in sales and business development within the senior living industry.
· 7 years of exceptional leadership and development of operational and project teams.
· 5 years of experience successfully managing multiple projects of varying sizes within the senior living, design or construction industry.
· Ability to curate and utilize a broad network of community partners, vendors, residents, and stakeholders.
· Proven ability to strengthen market position through innovative strategies and use of analytic-based decision-making.
· Ability to travel regionally 35% - 50%
