This is an in-office position located in Manakin-Sabot, VA.

There are three major areas of focus for the TAS:

Recruiting: Our TAS serves as a recruiting expert within the HR Team. We want them find great people whether from online, networking, community events, career fairs, eating at a restaurant. Our TAS is our expert in screening, onboarding, and working with managers who may not be the experts in hiring, but are the experts in their fields. A day in the life - recruiting is key!

Networking: Our TAS uses traditional and non-tradition resources to attract and retain exceptional talent. Developing relationships with universities, technical schools, associations, and affiliations with trade/professional organizations helps in finding the best, most diverse talent. Social media outreach practices on multiple platforms.

Compliance: Organizes, schedules, and performs required compliance reporting for government agencies – annual AAP, EEO-01, EEO-02, VETS-100 reporting. Ensures that job postings are compliant with state and federal regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred 

Required Licenses & Certifications: PHR or SPHR preferred

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience necessary including sourcing and creating pipelines. 1 year HR Employment/Labor Law experience a plus. Prior experience developing and executing plans to recruit and attract candidates from diverse backgrounds.

Computer skills: MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT. HRIS

Ability to to travel locally and sometimes nationally for career fairs and/or association meetings.

Pay range starts at $65,440, salary offers will be made pending skill and experience of the incumbent. Benefits start day 1 of employment.
