We redefine what an earplug should sound, look and feel like. Whether it's hearing protection or comfort for your ears, Loop enables you to live life at your volume. Our founders Maarten and Dimitri started Loop back with a big idea. And a chronic ringing in their ears. Since then, we've helped more than 3,500,000 customers around the world to find quiet, enjoy great experiences and keep unwanted noise at bay.
In 2023 we grew from almost 100 Loopers to over 250 people. And that's a number we would have to keep updating every month, as we are planning to double the team once again, this year.
Our headquarters are based in Antwerp, but with hubs in Amsterdam, Shanghai, and New York, we're dotted all over the globe.
Not to brag about it, but we've recently won the EY Scale up of the year award, the Deloitte Fast50 award (for the second year in a row) and a couple of other amazing (international) prices. The New York Times named us 'best earplugs for concerts' and thousands of noise-sensitive customers call us a 'life changer'.

10 yrs program management and engineering/design experience | Hybrid | Bay Area
Are you someone who thrives on the thrill of seeing fast-paced engineering projects through to the end? If so, we've got some exciting projects lined up for you. While our current earwear products have a passive focus, behind the scenes, we're also exploring active technologies. As an Engineering Program Manager, you'll be the one to connect our R&D roadmap to our NPI projects. Your challenge? To enhance collaboration within teams and ensure all stakeholders are aligned and moving forward together on schedule.
Your core job is to manage development and research projects. This involves enhancing our existing product lineup, including Loop Experience, Engage, Quiet and Switch, as well as delving into the development of our top-secret new products. Either way, your focus is on mechanical engineering design, development planning, and validation cycles. As the go-to person for making things happen, you'll develop strategies to hit those program objectives. That means spotting and smoothing out any bumps in the road, and when issues inevitably arise, you're the one diving in to fix them or bringing key stakeholders together to brainstorm solutions.
As we're experiencing rapid growth, and our ambitions are sky-high. So, there's a lot of moving parts to coordinate – teams, individuals and various interests all in the mix. Aligning them all together won't be easy, but we know you're more than capable. And don't worry, you're not on your own: the Program Management team and your manager Sander have got your back every step of the way.
You're driven, proactive and your creative and critical thinking abilities will be put to the test daily. Your playground? The realm of (electrical) consumer products, where a solid understanding of manufacturing processes is essential. Working together with various teams and stakeholders is crucial – it's not just about collaboration, but also about your skill to sift through and communicate relevant information to the right crowd. We'll rely on your communication, organizational and leadership skills to push projects successfully over the finish line. Given the fast-paced and the ever-evolving nature of our development cycles, we'll need you to always keep your cool and stay flexible.
Location: As you'll be actively involved in developing a physical product, we'd love to have you at our Bay Area office for approximately 3 to 4 days a week. The frequency may vary, ranging from less to more, depending on the project's current phase.
Loop takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, experience, skill sets, qualifications, education, and other business and organizational needs. Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise. Please note the range listed is just one component of the Company's total rewards package.
