We tackle complex problems in computer vision, image recognition, machine learning, and large-scale distributed systems.Amazon Search is seeking a quick-thinking, detail-oriented program manager to help us build Amazon-scale datasets for our machine learning efforts. Specifically, you will accelerate the progress of our computer vision teams both by measuring the performance of their solutions, and by creating new datasets that incorporate feedback from the performance monitoring. To succeed, you must possess a broad knowledge of consumer products in general, excel at program management, and continuously seek out ways to improve and scale up our dataset building efforts.Responsibilities include:· Leading the development of datasets for machine-learning initiatives, including orchestrating the efforts of multiple stakeholders and resolving tradeoffs between quality, latency and cost.· Designing, operating and analyzing data groundtruthing pipelines that involve multilingual workforces.· Assessing the quality and content of images and other data for locales in which Amazon conducts business.· Monitoring the performance of production machine-learning systems and machine-learning development processes, and identifying improvement opportunities.· Communicating opportunities and status reports to Amazon leadership.Amazon Search provides a highly customer-centric, team-oriented environment with offices located in Palo Alto, California.
