Tasks:
• Maintain and secure the digital file storage to ensure the Payroll department is
compliant with recordkeeping requirements; file, copy, and distribute documents as
needed, including semi-monthly payroll filing and daily mail
• Review timecards and attendance emails daily to ensure direct supervisors are
approving timecards and reviewing punch change requests; ensure that employees are
using the time keeping systems, if necessary, on short- and long-term relocations
• Complete verification of employments as they are requested and be the primary contact
for all verification of employment requests to maintain a consistent contact across
departments
• Respond to all payroll related questions via "Ask Here" in Paycom to ensure employees
are receiving the proper support in a timely manner
• Audit new hire and re-hire information regarding tax profiles and any necessary
information added to employee profiles in QuickBase to ensure all systems are correct
and consistent
• Audit payroll registers prior to final submission of semi-monthly payroll to ensure
accurate wage payment information and help address any discrepancies
• Update payroll-related SharePoint sites to ensure all employees are kept up to date with
Logical Position’s pay practices and procedures
• Communicate with state and federal tax agencies to gather and ensure accuracy of
payroll information as requested by the Manager of Payroll and Billing
• Assist the Manager of Payroll and Billing and other Finance departments with
administrative projects or tasks as needed to ensure the needs of the department are
being met
Required Skills & Certifications:
• Data entry and record keeping experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
effectively
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
