LK Institute is seeking a therapist that is interested in developing your specialization as a trauma therapist and increasing your confidence when working with complex issues. This is an opportunity to get specialized training and supervision in EMDR, dissociation, parts work, eating disorders and more. We are also excited to offer the opportunity to facilitate groups in our new adolescent IOP!
This position requires someone with a drive and innovation to build a caseload as one will not be automatically available to you. Training and quality supervision is our biggest priority when equipping a new grad or LAC to grow in their stride as counselors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Provide individual, couples, family, or group psychotherapy in accordance with federal/state laws and professional code of ethics
-Consult with Clinical Director regarding case management and treatment plan
-Maintain appropriate documentation of services to clients, including intake assessment, treatment plans, and progress notes
-Implement and maintain LK Institute philosophy, principles and procedures
-Conduct one's self in a manner consistent with the professional code of ethics
-Provide clinically appropriate treatment, interventions and/or education to clients in a professional manner
Requirements:
-Masters degree or higher in mental health related field.
-Possession of LAC or are license eligible in the state of Arizona.
-If licensed, must be in good standing with an active license according to AZBBHE.
-If not yet licensed, must be willing to get LAC within three months after accepting position.
-Ability to obtain and maintain malpractice insurance.
-Active finger print clearance card.
-Must have a smartphone, computer access and a willingness to learn LK Institute electronic health record system.
