Livingston County Community Mental Health is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Howell, MI

Administrative Assistant: $16.65 - $19.14 per hour based on experience.

Role:

Regular full-time position providing administrative support in a community-based mental health clinic serving individuals with mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or substance use needs. Staff perform a variety of reception and clerical tasks for the entire clinic, such as answering multi-line phone and transferring calls; dispatching information to team members in field; greeting visitors; taking referrals; scheduling appointments; maintaining and monitoring client records; data entry to an electronic health record; preparing publications and other documents; filing; typing and creating documents; assisting with special projects; and use of multiple computer software programs. Staff must work well as a part of a cohesive multidisciplinary team. The Administrative Assistant works under the supervision of the Mental Health Program Director and Program Coordinator.

Job Specific Requirements:

Administrative Assistants must have a high school diploma and at least one year of office experience. Prior experience in a mental health or medical office is required. Candidates require proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Skills in MS Publisher or other publication software is desirable. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
